Why did you start working at Flexado?
For school, I had to intern for six months. During my internship, I had to do a marketing and a sales assignment. A friend of mine who works at Flexado happened to share a vacancy: at Flexado, they needed an intern.

I finally went for an interview and was immediately excited. Ramon (owner) spoke passionately and enthusiastically about the company and it struck a chord right away. I immediately noticed that it is not a company like most. A rather playful and mischievous company with a lot of expertise and hard-working people. That attracted me to do my internship at Flexado.

What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned?
I find that theory from school and practice often differ. Theory is important but it never connects 100% to the product or service. It is a lot of kneading and tailoring to apply a particular theory or strategy. In the process, it can take a while to get (desired) results, which can be frustrating.

How did you grow as a person because of this?
I started as an intern on a marketing and sales assignment. At the same time, I also made a number of videos for social media, among other things. Ramon was very excited about this and then offered me a job to continue making videos for Flexado, as he has biggest plans for this. I couldn’t refuse that! Meanwhile, I also manage the social media channels and also get to know more and more programmes that support content creation.
