For many freelancers, this is not a far-fetched scenario. If you work from home, you are often registered with the KVK at your home address. And according to the Commercial Register Act, that business address is in principle public. The KVK itself also indicates that entrepreneurs sometimes face threats at their work or home address.<\/p>\n

The good news: if you have a sole proprietorship, you can always have your business address shielded. You don’t need to demonstrate a threat or any special reason for this.<\/p>\n
